Ingredients

  • 1 large ripe banana peeled and frozen in chunks
  • 2 tablespoons natural peanut butter
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk plus more as needed
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3-4 ice cubes optional for extra thickness

Method

  1. Add the frozen banana chunks, peanut butter, almond milk, honey, and vanilla extract to a high-speed blender.
  2. Blend on high speed for 60-90 seconds until completely smooth and creamy, stopping to scrape down the sides if needed.
  3. Check the consistency — if too thick to pour, add 1-2 tablespoons more almond milk and blend for 10 seconds. If too thin, add 3-4 ice cubes and blend again.
  4. Pour immediately into a tall glass or mason jar and enjoy right away for the best texture and temperature.
